CAS Data Science and Artificial Intelligence for Risk Analysis

The Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence for Risk Analysis develops the quantitative framework and technical skills required to use AI responsibly in finance and insurance. Participants begin with the foundations of risk measurement, pricing, aggregation and capital allocation, then apply statistical learning, machine learning, deep learning and carefully scoped generative AI methods to realistic risk problems. Particular attention is given to extreme events, complex dependencies, climate and environmental shocks, cyber risk, contagion and liquidity stress, model validation, explainability and governance.
