Coursework
Here some general information about the coursework.
- Submission deadline is Wednesday 11:00. The first coursework is due 26 September.
- You can submit the coursework in threes. This means that you can put up to three names on one answer sheet, but you can also submit it alone or in pairs. If you submit the written coursework in pairs or threes, you only need to submit it once. If more than one solution is submitted, only one will be marked.
- The coursework grading will be binary: 1 point for a sufficient submission, 0 otherwise.
- Admission to the main examination requires 6 out of 12 points.
- For coursework to be considered sufficient, it must represent a meaningful attempt and be presented legibly.
- The coursework is intended primarily as an opportunity to learn and practise the course material. Therefore, a meaningful attempt does not require all questions to be answered, nor does it require all answers to be correct. Instead, students are expected to make a serious attempt to solve some of the problems and present them in a clear and understandable way. In particular, failed but carefully explained attempts at exercise questions are explicitly accepted.
- Solutions to coursework questions will be provided.
- A good way to create a pdf from a written document is the OneDrive‑App, but you can decided whatever method you prefer. If you have any questions, please ask.
- If a student does not put in sufficient effort on their coursework, it will still count towards their total, but we will stop providing written feedback.
- If you are unable to attend the feedback session for your coursework, please contact the lecturer to arrange an alternative.
