New Digital Tools for Media Monitoring and Discourse Analysis

We are excited to launch a new DIZH-funded research project led by Prof. Alexandre Bovet (DM3L) and Prof. Vinzenz Wyss (ZHAW) to develop a novel machine learning framework grounded in communication theory to analyze how different journalistic perspectives are interconnected in media reporting. This framework will support both strategic communication within organizations and journalistic research in media companies, helping to better understand and monitor complex media discourses. We also warmly welcome Juni Schindler as a new postdoctoral researcher in the Quantitative Network Science group, joining the team to work on this project.
